Method
The solera aging method involves layering tequila in PX Sherry barrels, arranged in 3 tiers
TOP TIER - Spanish White Oak barrels
FILLED UP WITH ALREADY AGED TEQUILA
MIDDLE TIER - Spanish White Oak barrels
Tequila moves down through intermediate barrels over time, blending with older batches.
Bottom Tier - PX Sherry casks
The oldest tequila is drawn from the bottom barrels for bottling, but only partially, leaving some behind to retain its mature character.
New tequila replenishes the system, ensuring continuous blending and creating a consistent, complex, and evolving product.
